This week provided us with a lot of 'lasts'.
Last Work Party. I know work is work, but I have been blessed to work with some amazingly talented people doing some pretty awesome stuff. Yesterday these awesome people threw me a farewell party. First stop - pedicures.
After our toes were beautified we met up at the Lazy Goat. If you come to Greenville and don't visit the Lazy Goat, you're an idiot! Kidding...well, sort of! I know everyone has different tastes but between the awesome views and great food - it's definitely at the top of my list!
As part of the farewell, I was given the world's largest Chinese takeout box filled with fortunes written by my coworkers.
A few of my favorites:
Lady who follows husband to China is smart lady and will have successful future.
Confucius says, plants that aren’t given water, don’t live! ;)
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
Enjoy your Great Adventure!
Fact: Maggie is a Chinese secret agent sent to steal our cable designs.
Confucius once said, “If you were fortunate enough to escape from China one time, why would you go back second time?”
Needless to say, we had a lot of laughs and I will remember that night for a long time!
Last Crossfit. Although the hardest workout I have ever tried, crossfit leaves me feeling like a beast - like I could beat up The Rock. If you live in the Greenville/Spartanburg area, visit Tyger River Crossfit and show Scott, Nicole and Chris some love.
Last day of work. So this morning at 7am we were driving to work super excited to finish up our last day. Right now, it's a reality. Hate saying goodbyes!
Tonight we will get off work and hang out with Kaitie Bug (aka my little sister) on our last night in Greenville.
Still can't believe how quickly this chapter has come to an end but incredibly excited to see what adventures the next chapter holds for me and my Goose! <3
